"Fox has four books published by Hachette but I first met them at an in-person interaction with All About Trans. This was arranged to facilitate trans writers and creators meeting senior book publishers with the aim of increasing understanding of trans rights, and the issues which specifically affect trans creatives. One outcome of these sessions was a new one-to-one mentorship scheme, to which Fox was first to apply. I acted as their mentor – we were both learning.

They also took a leading role in a filmed panel event, sharing and exploring issues raised in the AAT interaction. The event was open to everyone at Hachette UK (around 1300 people). There was a high level of engagement with the discussion and universally positive feedback about the honesty and constructiveness of Fox’s contribution.
